Walk Tonbridge Club 'on tour': Shoreham and the lavender fields
📅 Sunday 12 July · 09:30-12:30
About this event
A social group walk led by James Pavlou of Walk Tonbridge following a beautiful route from Shoreham Kent to Lullingstone Country Park. The Walk Tonbridge Club is a relaxed walking group open to everyone. It’s a great way to meet new people and to experience beautiful walks in and around Tonbridge and beyond. Make the most of summer and join us for this 4 mile long route from the pretty village of Shoreham, Kent to Lullingstone Country Park and back. We will make a stop at Castle Farm where we will make a short stop for a drink/ice cream. There are some stiles and gates on this route and the paths may be muddy if we are having a wet summer! You can expect some pretty countryside, running streams, a picturesque church and the chance to walk past some beautiful lavender fields. Entrance to the lavender fields is not included in this walk and we will not have time to visit these on this walk but we will walk past some of these. We will walk at a relaxed pace as to allow the chance to socialise with our fellow walkers and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. There will be a short stop at the church for those interested in visiting this. We would recommend that you wear suitable footwear and remember to bring a waterproof jacket, as well as weather appropriate clothing, suncream and water etc. Length: Approximately 4 miles /6 km Duration: Approximately 3-4 hours including stops Min - Max group size : 2- 15 Walk Leader: James Pavlou
