We have launched a public consultation to help shape plans to improve Earl Street and create a greener, more welcoming destination where businesses can thrive and visitors can enjoy spending time. As part of this process, we are inviting local businesses to share their experiences, ideas and priorities to help inform the future of this important town centre street. Join us for a business walkabout along Earl Street designed specifically for local businesses. This event provides an opportunity for businesses to share their experiences of the street environment, discuss current challenges, and highlight improvements they would like to see in the area. Participants will also have the chance to learn more about the Earl Street scheme, ask questions, and complete a survey to ensure their feedback is captured. Following the walkabout, we will gather at a local venue for a debrief session where businesses can reflect on key observations, explore ideas in greater detail, and contribute to discussions on priorities and potential improvements for Earl Street. Your insights will help shape the future of Earl Street and ensure the needs of local businesses are heard.
