About this event
A chance to explore life within our pond on this family friendly event Come and discover what is living in the pond at the Environment Centre. Will you find a water scorpion? Perhaps you'll be lucky enough to net a newt! Maybe you'll find a water beetle? The pond at Singleton Environment Centre is a rich habitat for a wealth of pond creatures. Our pond is normally home to newts as well as bloodworms, water beetles, snails, caddisfly larvae, water scorpions and boatmen. Try your luck and see what you can find. The event runs from 10am to 1pm. Please book your 20 minutes time slot ensuring that you purchase a ticket for every member of the family who will be taking part. It's not just for the kids but great fun for the adults too! Only equipment provided by Singleton Environment Centre can be used in our pond to avoid cross contamination.
