About this event

Powered by This Girl Can Join Black Ballad and Black Girls Hike for a beautiful Sunday morning walk through some of South East London’s most peaceful woodland. Together, we’ll follow paths shaded by beautiful old oak, birch and hornbeam trees, take in the beauty of nature, share conversation, and enjoy the simple pleasure of moving our bodies outdoors with like-minded black women. Whether daily walks are already part of your regular routine or this walk is the beginning of your journey towards moving more, you’ll leave feeling refreshed, connected and reminded that movement can be joyful, accessible and done together. This walk is powered by This Girl Can as part of its “We Like The Way You Move” campaign. The campaign celebrates the different ways women move through life in all their strength, beauty and individuality — and encourages women to discover that just 10 minutes of intentional movement can boost energy, lift mood, increase confidence and support wellbeing.
