A fun and relaxed drawing workshop led by local artist, Kerry Jackson-Standen. Join us for a fun and relaxed drawing workshop and soak in the atmosphere of the Rochester Bridge Trust’s Victorian Bridge Chamber with stunning views over the River Medway and Rochester Castle. Led by local artist Kerry Jackson-Standen these workshops are loosely themed and will encourage participants to have a go at sketching in an informal and supportive environment. This workshop will focus on the rich history of Rochester and take inspiration from the many remarkable local landmarks including Rochester Cathedral, Eastgate House and Restoration House. Kerry is a local artist and educator that works with all mediums, using both traditional and digital techniques. She is known for her eye for detail and using gold leaf as a contemporary twist within her artwork. Kerry specialises in graphite portraiture with her main focus on animal art. She strongly believes in art being enjoyed by everyone no matter their skill level or age. Tickets are free and refreshments will be available. No prior drawing experience necessary! Attendees are allowed to book multiple tickets however it is asked that these are booked one at a time, providing the name of each guest in the booking.
